A Place to Live

This new series of paintings arose from looking at estate agents adverts in newspapers. I had collected these images in a sketchbook several years ago, because they intrigued me visually, but only now have I found a way of making paintings from them.  I have used thinner glazes of colour that become absorbed by the bare plywood surface to capture the feeling that these  flawed images of homes give me.
